Owing its genetic lineage to US favourites Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint GSC, the now legendary Gelato consists of 60% Indica and 40% Sativa. It gloriously proved itself as a champion cannabis variety that upon release became an instant household name in Amsterdam coffeeshops. In turn, the mighty and reliable Blueberry is one of the great cannabis classics from Holland and has been around since the 1970s. Being an 80% Indica and 20% Sativa strain, the Blueberry adds more robust Indica flavour while spicing things up with its unmistakable undertones of sweet fruit. Brought together, this Horticultural Project, dubbed Blueberry Gelato, created a lush and delectable new variety that packs a heavy Indica punch.

Physically relaxing but without the couch-locking or stupefying effect, the pleasant experience inspires creative processes and social interaction. Taking too much may result in a touch of the munchies, however.

Indica-dominant variety

Being a mostly-Indica variety, Blueberry Gelato will, when treated right, display a thick, glistering coat of crystals formed by the sticky glandular trichomes that thicken abundantly as the flowers mature and make the densely packed inflorescences (aka buds) look juicy and creamy while the bubbly contour of these firm, round buds, and their appetizing colours indeed stir up an image of ice cream cones sporting big stacks of multi-coloured ice cream scoops that look so tasty that you want to take a bite.

As with all Indica-dominant varieties, you may expect excellent yields Blueberry Gelato feminized seeds, provided you take good care of your plants and keep the humidity low when flowering.
